Bacteria can cause a lot of serious problems, such as strep throat, sinus infection, cystitis, ear infection, and they can disrupt the entire intestines and give people health issues, such as bloated stomach, constipation, consistency that changes continuously and many more.
Bacteria are also the origin of all Acid reflux, sometimes also caused by a virus, but in general the cause are bacteria. In that case, antacids are the only solution for the GP, but this is absolutely not the case. It isn't healing the acid reflux, because it does not tackle the bacteria. Actually, it is always a shortage of stomach acid and that is why bacteria can settle in the stomach. If you have a healthy level of stomach acid and you eat something with a bacteria, it dies immediately.
Bacteria also produce acids, bad ones, and these acids cause the issues such as belching. Your own stomach acid definitely doesn't do that! Stomach acid inhibitors also somewhat inhibit these acids, but as I mentioned, the bacteria remains. In addition, antacids cause deficiencies of many nutrients, such as vitamin B12, zinc, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin D, Calcium, Iron and even affect the intestinal flora! The use of antacids is at the root of many health problems.
